What your crew sees: one button, and their own hours.
The crew side of CutCrew is deliberately small. They sign in with a text code and get a Clock tab with one button, a Receipts tab with a camera, and the repair videos for* the machines they run. There’s no timesheet to fill out, and they can’t see your numbers.
Your crew installs the same app. Their sign-in is their phone number.

Clock
One button to clock in and out.
The big button reads CLOCK IN or CLOCK OUT, an ON THE CLOCK chip shows while they’re on, and today’s punches are listed underneath. The punch is stamped the moment they press it, with or without signal, and syncs when the phone gets signal back. Nobody has to text you “started around 7” anymore. Clocking out asks which sites they worked and lets them add walkaround photos of each one.
Receipts
Snap it, tag the yard, submit to you.
They take a photo or pick one, put in the amount, choose the site and tap Submit to Owner. The receipt goes to your review queue.
Repair videos*
How to fix the machine they’re standing next to.
The repair guides for your equipment, sorted by machine. When a belt gets thrown at 2 p.m., they can watch the video and fix it without calling you.
Crew
Who’s on today.
The roster shows who’s on the clock and who isn’t, by name and status. It doesn’t show rates, pay or anyone else’s hours.
Sign-in
Their phone number and a text code.
They enter their phone number, type the 6-digit code that gets texted to them, and they’re in. There’s no password to forget or reset, and your account never shows up on their phone.
What they never see
Your books stay yours.
Rates, payroll totals, invoices, revenue and the tax export are owner-only. In the crew app, a person sees their own punches and receipts, never anyone else’s.
Why the crew likes it, too.
Their hours are on record the second they punch, so nobody argues on payday about who started when. And once they’ve submitted a receipt, they’re done with it.
