A time clock your lawn crew punches on their own phones.
Your crew doesn’t need a badge or a tablet in the truck. They sign in with a text code and tap one button, and CutCrew adds up hours, overtime and gross pay for payday. It’s on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, with 30 days free.
One button, and the time is the time.
The punch is recorded on the phone the moment the button is pressed and syncs when signal comes back. Nobody loses a punch in a dead zone, and the punch time is the pressed time, not the synced time.
- SIGNING IN
- You add their name and number. They install CutCrew, enter their phone number and type the 6-digit code that gets texted to them, and they’re in. There’s no password and no signup form.
- CLOCKING IN
- Tap the big button and pick the yard. Clocking out asks 4 quick questions (sites worked, walkaround photos, any expenses, which equipment got used), and every one can be skipped.
- NO SIGNAL
- Punch anyway. It saves on the phone and syncs later.
- FORGOT TO CLOCK OUT
- Anyone on the clock over 10 hours gets a reminder, and you can correct any punch from the hours report. Every correction is logged with who changed it and when.

Your dashboard shows the On the Clock count, and one tap opens the live list. Odd punches, like a double punch-in or a punch that synced hours late, go to a review queue on your dashboard, where you can fix each one with a tap. CutCrew never changes a punch on its own.

Open Reports, pick the pay period, and read hours, overtime and gross pay per person, with the period’s total at the bottom. Tap any row to see individual shifts. Tap Export CSV to get the period as a file you can take into whatever you run payroll with.

FAQ
Does my crew need an account?
They don’t fill out a signup form or make a password. You add their name and phone number, and they get the app and sign in with the 6-digit code that’s texted to them.
What if there’s no signal at the job?
The punch still counts. It saves on the phone and syncs when signal comes back, and the time on it is when the button was pressed.
Can I fix a wrong punch?
Yes, from the hours report. CutCrew logs who made each correction and when, so if anyone disputes their hours you can look it up.
I work alone. Is this still for me?
Yes. The owner account runs the office side. To punch the clock yourself, add yourself as a crew member with your own phone number and punch like anyone else.
